I’d like to start showing some dishes from around the world to hopefully inspire some people to visit that area.
Let’s be honest, many people would travel just for food. Trying food from other regions and culture is one of the richest and most important experiences of a trip.
Today I’d like to talk about The Yoshida Udon noodle dish we had at Mount Fuji when we visited Japan last October.
It was the most modest restaurant, not many different options to choose from, but it was by far the dish that surprised us the most. It was amazing! This kind of udon noodle is really really thick, allowing them to absorb a lot of that amazing broth, giving them so much flavor! The one I ordered had horse meat in it, simply delicious.

It really got me what you said about ‘traveling for food’, you can really ‘feel’ another culture through its cuisine.
